“APEC is going to be EPIC” — at least that’s according to signs at San Francisco International Airport welcoming the heads of state, officials, and reporters who are descending on the northern California city for the 30th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
The Moscone Center — main venue of the gathering in downtown San Francisco — has been lit up and decorated to welcome global leaders, while roadblocks, crowd control barriers and checkpoints have been set up to boost security.
