Chinese-made C919 takes maiden commercial flight
China’s domestically developed C919 jet successfully completed its inaugural commercial flight on Sunday, nearly six months after the aircraft, positioned as a potential rival to single-aisle airliners from Boeing Co. and Airbus SE, was delivered to China Eastern Airlines Corp. Ltd.
